The Daughters of Mary Immaculate (DMI) is a religious congregation of dedicated women who have committed their lives to serving people through spiritual guidance and community development. Their mission is rooted in compassion, service, and the holistic upliftment of society.
Since 2003, DMI has been actively serving in Tanzania, particularly in the Dioceses of Dar es Salaam and Songea focusing on the empowerment of marginalized women and children. Among its core missions, education for poor and disadvantaged children remains a central priority.
Through its schools and child-focused initiatives, DMI seeks to nurture foundational skills, foster emotional and social growth, and build confidence in young learners. With a strong commitment to quality education and childcare, DMI ensures a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where children are prepared for academic success while also growing in overall well-being, happiness, and holistic development.
